Scarborough avoid winding up order
How long can cash-strapped Boro survive?
The threat of a winding up order against Scarborough has been lifted after the Inland Revenue decided to drop its action.
Last summer, the Seasiders narrowly averted closure after agreeing a Company Voluntary Agreement with creditors. The Revenue, which is still owed cash by the club, contacted Leeds insolvency firm O'Hara's about unpaid debts. Joint owner Darrell Littlewood told BBC Radio York that the situation was a "misunderstanding" with his Inland Revenue's local office. He said: "It was just a case of a breakdown in communication which has now been sorted."
