Chairman Beal has welcomed the return of former director Peter Yeldon
Salisbury City have received a major financial boost after former director Peter Yeldon confirmed he is to resume his involvement with the club.
The millionaire businessman helped fund the Whites' promotion into the Blue Square Premier but left last summer.
Yeldon told BBC Radio Wiltshire he has returned to help chairman Neville Beal.
"I'm going to give Neville moral and financial support. There will be money available to keep the club where it is at the moment," he said.
"Hopefully we can keep the current squad, get one or two players back from loans and if necessary bring some players in."
Meanwhile, Beal welcomed Yeldon's return to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
"We are delighted that Peter is renewing his interest in the club. During his absence he and I have remained on very good terms and I hope that we can now move forward."
