Rushden and Diamonds manager Justin Edinburgh says his side are performing above expectations this season.
Diamonds have won the last three games, and climbed to 6th in the Blue Square Premier after beating Luton Town 2-0.
"Where we should be is not as high as we are. But we certainly don't want to get ahead of ourselves," Edinburgh told BBC Radio Northampton.
"We've shown what we're capable of, and now consistency is key. But I'm very happy with the squad's progress."
Edinburgh also singled out defender Michael Corcoran for praise. The 21-year-old has started the last four games for the Diamonds, having come into the side following Simon Downer's suspension.
"He's come in from the wilderness. I always said this is a squad, and it's not all about the starting eleven. He was outstanding again [against Luton] and he has been since he's come in."
