Broadbent joins Rushden on loan

Rushden & Diamonds

Huddersfield Town striker Danny Broadbent has signed on loan for Blue Square Premier side Rushden & Diamonds for a month.

The 18-year-old has made one first-team appearance this season, coming off the bench in Huddersfield's 1-0 home defeat by Leyton Orient in November.

He could make his debut for Rushden in Saturday's match at Ebbsfleet.

He is the fourth teenage member of the Huddersfield squad to go out on loan to Blue Square Premier sides this season.

Tom Denton and Simon Eastwood are currently at Woking, while defender Shane Killock is at Oxford United.
