Tomlin signs new deal at Rushden

Rushden and Diamonds

Rushden & Diamonds striker Lee Tomlin has signed a new contract at the club, keeping him at Nene Park until 2011.

The 19-year-old joined from Leicester City and made his full league debut at the age of just 16.

Manager Garry Hill said: "Lee is an exciting prospect and I am delighted that he has shown his loyalty to the club by committing to a new deal."

"I have no doubt that Lee will now push on and continue to develop as a footballer," he added.
