Dublin-born Micky Cummins was a free transfer from Darlington in July 2008
Rotherham United midfielder Micky Cummins will be out of action for up to six weeks with a groin injury.
Irishman Cummins, 31, who suffered the problem in training, missed Saturday's 0-0 home draw with Aldershot.
Millers manager Ronnie Moore told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Micky is going to be four to six weeks with the scare that he's got.
"It is a blow because he give us something different and we are just looking for that bit of spark now."
After seeing his side beat Barnet 3-0 two days after he returned to take charge on 24 September, Moore's Millers have won just once in six league games since.
