Nicholas will give Rotherham valuable left-sided cover
Rotherham United have signed former Swindon left-back Andy Nicholas on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old played 141 times for the Robins in five years but was released this summer following a five-game loan spell at Chester City.
Millers manager Mark Robins told the club website: "I am pleased to confirm the signing because he will provide us with another option on our left side."
The ex-Liverpool trainee had a trial with Cheltenham earlier this month.
