League One strugglers Rotherham have accepted leading scorer Deon Burton's transfer request.
Burton has established himself as Rotherham's leading goalscorer
Former Portsmouth and Derby striker Burton, 29, has scored 14 goals this term after arriving during the summer on a free transfer from Brentford.
Rotherham director David Veal said: "After careful consideration we have reluctantly agreed to let Deon move on.
"We felt it was the best decision in the interests of club and player, who clearly decided he wants to move on."
In addition to three spells at Pompey, Jamaica international Burton has also previously played for Cardiff, Derby, Barnsley, Stoke, Walsall and Swindon.
