Brittain joins up at Ross County

Midfielder Brittain was sidelined by injury this season

Ross County have signed former Livingston and St Mirren midfielder Richard Brittain.

The 24-year-old moves to Victoria Park under freedom of contract after two seasons at Love Street.

Brittain, who spent five years at Livi, made just seven appearances in an injury-hit campaign at St Mirren and was not offered a new deal.

He had been a regular during the previous term and netted twice for the Buddies, including a screamer at Ibrox.

Brittain is the latest recruit with SPL experience for the Second Division champions.

Scott Morrison, Richie Hart, Danny Griffin and Steven Craig have already been snapped up by manager Derek Adams.
