Kennedy, Done and Edwards sign new Rochdale contracts

Rochdale trio Jason Kennedy, Matt Done and Matt Edwards have all signed new contracts at Spotland.

Midfielder Kennedy, 24, has signed a two-year extension to his existing deal, which was set to expire at the end of the current season.

Fellow midfielder Done, 22, has penned a six-month extension to his contract, keeping him at the club until the end of this campaign.

Goalkeeper Edwards, 20, has agreed month-to-month terms with Dale.

Boss Keith Hill told the club website: "Jason is the type of player that I want at the club under my management and I am delighted that he has committed his future to the club.

"Matt [Done] has had limited opportunities but when he has come on or started a match he has done well and has earned this extension to his contract.

Dale are also set to complete the permanent signing of on-loan midfielder Nicky Adams, 23, from Brentford on 1 January.
