Keith Hill led Rochdale to last season's League Two play-off final
Rochdale boss Keith Hill has been quick to stress the positives at Spotland despite having now gone 15 league games without keeping a clean sheet.
Dale are still in the League Two play-off zone despite having not kept a clean sheet since the opening day trip to Grimsby on August 9.
But Hill told BBC Manchester: "Clean sheets will definitely come. We're scoring goals and fourth in the league.
"I'd rather be fourth than fourth bottom - conceding goals not scoring."
He added: "I think Keith Alexander's Macclesfield team merited a draw on Saturday but previous to that they hadn't been scoring goals.
"Clean sheets are brilliant to have but they are not necessary for winning football matches. That I do know.
"It does frustrate me as much as it does you but, if you draw it to my attention that we haven't had a clean sheet in 15 games, I'll draw it to your attention that we are fourth in the league and we are unbeaten in something like seven or eight games."
