Rochdale boss Keith Hill has told his players how confident he is of another successful season at Spotland.
Dale have taken four points from their first two league matches this season after reaching last term's League Two play-offs final.
Hill told BBC Radio Manchester: "The solid base we have got epitomises the successful teams throughout history.
"We have got players who make chances as well as players who score goals and we do put our chances away."
He added: "You only have to go through our team - Chris Dagnall, Adam Le Fondre, Jon Shaw, Lee Rundle, Lee Thorpe et cetera, et cetera will definitely score goals for us.
"Added to that creativity of our midfielders, and the solid base at the back, I really do believe we will gain success."
