Rochdale have named Alan Buckley as their new manager.
The former Grimsby, Walsall and West Brom boss takes over from Paul Simpson who resigned last month.
Simpson parted company with Rochdale after a season in which the Spotland club finished 19th in Division Three, but claimed the scalps of Coventry and Preston in the FA Cup.
Buckley returns to management for the first time since parting company with Lincoln in April 2002.
