Dick Advocaat will assess the form of striker Carlos Ferrari
Dick Advocaat will assess the form of striker Carlos Ferrari
Rangers have secured the services of 21 year-old Brazilian striker Carlos Ferrari on a short-term contract.

A six-month deal has been brokered with the Brazilian club Mirassol, based in Sau Paulo, to allow Ibrox manager Dick Advocaat to properly assess the player.

Ferrari has been training with the Scottish champions this week and international clearance is expected on Monday.

Born in Brazil, he has an Italian passport and is therefore eligible to play for either Italy or Brazil as he's not yet featured in an international.

The youngster is rated at approximately 1m and has previously been on the books of Inter Milan.
