Rangers forward Andrew Little is happy to stay at Ibrox

Rangers forward Andrew Little insists he is in no hurry to leave Ibrox in search of first-team football.

The 20-year-old, who scored his first goal for Rangers against Hearts in January, has 18 months left on his current contract at the club.

However, the Northern Ireland international said he would review his situation at the end of the season.

"At the minute I'm happy to bide my time." Little said. "I'll think about it in the summertime."

Little, deployed by manager Walter Smith both at right-back and up front, was relaxed over which role he would eventually settle on.

"I wouldn't say I have a preferred role - I'll play anywhere on the pitch - I prefer the pitch to the bench, but scoring goals is a nice thing to do," said Little.

I'm more than happy, especially in the last month or so when I've been getting bits and pieces of games

"I thought about going out on loan at one point, but the way things are at the club, I don't think there's any chance that's going to happen.

"I'm more than happy, especially in the last month or so when I've been getting bits and pieces of games. I'm really enjoying it at the minute.

"I am a wee bit conscious of getting game time. We'll see what happens if player comes in or move out and I'll may be readdress it then."
