Rangers midfielder DaMarcus Beasley has vowed to battle to avoid being sold on in the January transfer window.

Manager Walter Smith has revealed he is looking to off-load ten first-team players in a bid to slash the club's wage bill.

"I know the gaffer has said he'll have to consider offers for players who aren't playing," said Beasley.

"I understand I fit the bill in that respect just now and it's up to me to show I'm worth keeping here."
