Rangers director John McClelland has been appointed as a vice-chairman of the European Club Association.
McClelland joins other vice-chairmen, AC Milan director Umberto Gandini and Barcelona president Joan Laporta.
The ECA was formed following the dissolution of the G-14 group and currently represents 103 member clubs.
"I am delighted the club and the work put in by John has been recognised with a board appointment," chief executive Martin Bain told the Rangers website.
McClelland briefly held the post of chairman at Ibrox when Sir David Murray took a break from the role between 2002 and 2004.
Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has been appointed as chairman of the ECA.
