Date confirmed for Gers qualifier

Rangers manager Walter Smith
Smith's side will take on Santa Coloma or FBK Kaunas

The date for the first leg of Rangers' Champions League second qualifying round tie with either Santa Coloma or FBK Kaunas has been set.

Walter Smith's side will host their opponents at Ibrox on Wednesday 30 July in Rangers' first match of the season.

The date for the second leg will be confirmed after the tie between Coloma and Kaunas has been decided.

Rangers are aiming to reach the group stages of the Champions League for the eighth time.
