Striker Sebo completes Ibrox exit

Rangers have sold striker Filip Sebo to Valenciennes for an undisclosed fee, believed to be close to 1m.

The 24-year-old Slovakian spent last season on loan with the French side, scoring four goals in 32 league games.

Sebo was signed on a four-year deal from Austria Vienna in 2006 by former Gers boss Paul Le Guen, but scored just twice in his time at Ibrox.

Daniel Cousin is expected to follow Sebo out of Ibrox with his agent saying he wants to move to an English club.

The 31-year-old Gabon international almost joined Fulham in January but Fifa regulations prevented the move from going through.

Meanwhile, midfielder Alan Gow is determined to stay at Ibrox despite appearing only twice last season.

Gow's agent Phil McTaggart told BBC Scotland: "Alan wants to give it another go. He'll be reporting for pre-season training."
