McGregor has been out since April with an ankle problem
Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor has spoken of his disappointment at not being able to play in next week's Uefa Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg.
The 26-year-old sustained an ankle injury in April and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
He told BBC Scotland: "Wednesday's a big game and obviously it's disappointing to be injured for it.
"But there's nothing I can do about it and I'm just going to get behind all the boys now."
In McGregor's absence, Neil Alexander is set to continue in goal when Rangers travel to the City of Manchester Stadium for the showpiece final.
Alexander signed from Ipswich in January and McGregor has been impressed with his deputy in recent games.
"Neil's done well," added McGregor.
"He's a good goalkeeper, we knew that when he came to the club. It's good luck to him on Wednesday."
