Rangers manager Walter Smith was disappointed to see his side slip up against 10-man Inverness at Ibrox.
"It's a missed opportunity," he told BBC Sport. "We got off to a good start but failed to build on that.
"We fell away for the final half hour in the first half and found it difficult to step up a gear.
"Sometimes teams can struggle against 10 men but credit to Inverness because their back four and goalkeeper were solid and played well."
