Coach Brown calls time on Rangers
Reserve coach John Brown is leaving Rangers
Brown moved to Rangers in 1988
John Brown has left his role as reserve coach at Rangers just weeks after Paul Le Guen took over the managerial reins.

Brown moved to Ibrox from Dundee in 1988, won six championships and was awarded a testimonial in 2001 for his 13 years service to the club.

The former defender turned to coaching in 1997 and worked with the under-18s, before becoming reserve boss in 2003.

A club spokesperson said: "John, during an amicable meeting, intimated he thought the time was right to move on."
