Rangers manager Alex McLeish refused to criticise his mis-firing team after the defeat by Dundee United.
"We made a lot of chances, but United dug in. It was a night when the gods weren't on our side - on another night we could have scored five," he said.
"It's still in our hands though. To make six clear-cut chances and four or five more, it's not a bad performance.
"Dado Prso and Nacho Novo have been brilliant for us so I can't criticise them for their misses," he added.
