Rangers manager Alex McLeish felt his side performed well against Dundee United despite dropping two points.
"I couldn't believe we didn't score in the first half," he said.
"We had so much of the play and we were as good as we've been for some time, passing the ball around and moving United about the pitch.
"So it's difficult to complain about the performance. It's two vital points dropped but there's a lot more to be won before the end of the season."
McLeish asked fans to look at the "bigger picture" regarding the team's current predicament, bearing in mind that they are in a reasonable position in their Champions League group.
"We've got to be positive in our outlook. With performances like that we will win more than we lose."
