Experienced Dutch goalkeeper Ronald Waterreus has left Manchester City to join Rangers on a one-year deal.
Waterreus has played 10 times for Holland
The Ibrox side need a replacement for skipper Stefan Klos, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.
34-year-old Waterreus will go straight into the squad to face Dundee United in Wednesday's CIS Cup semi final.
Waterreus made just two Carling Cup appearances for City after arriving on a short-term contract in August.
Waterreus spent ten years at PSV Eindoven and has made ten appearances for Holland.
"I'm fit to play, so whenever the manager wants me to play I will play," said Waterreus.
"I have played at Hampden Park before with the Netherlands national team when we played Scotland in a play-off in 2004, so I know quite a bit about the atmosphere - and I am looking forward to it."
