Michael Ball's career at Rangers was blighted by injury

Former England full-back Michael Ball has left Rangers to join Dutch First Division side PSV Eindhoven.
Ball has signed a two-year contract with the Dutch side with the option of a further year.
"I thought I was on my way to Birmingham but then the late call came from PSV," he told the Scottish Sun.
"They are a club of Champions League stature and, when someone like (PSV manager) Guus Hiddink calls, you listen to what is said."
The left-sided defender moved to Ibrox in the summer of 2001 in a £4m deal which would have risen further had certain clauses been met.
A serious knee injury kept Ball out of action for 18 months and Rangers were keen to offload the player who was one of the highest earners at the club.
His one England appearance came before he joined Rangers and was in a friendly with Spain in February 2001.
PSV have also recruited right-back Michael Reiziger from Middlesbrough on the day they sold South Korean international defender Lee Young-Pyo to Tottenham.
