Rangers' Craig Moore has had his place in Australia's Olympic squad confirmed.
Craig Moore has angered his club Rangers
The defender was stripped of the Ibrox captaincy and placed on the transfer list after his decision to represent his country in Athens next month.
That would mean missing the beginning of the new season and Rangers manager Alex McLeish was furious.
Moore is one of three over-age players selected for the under-23 competition, along with Millwall midfielder Tim Cahill and Osasuna striker John Aloisi.
Partick Thistle defender Adrian Madaschi has also been selected by coach Frank Farina, while other British-based players in the team are Middlesbrough keeper Brad Jones, Bristol City midfielder Luke Wilkshire and David Tarka of Notts Forest.
Moore will captain the side, who kick off their campaign against Tunisia on 11 August before taking on Serbia & Montenegro and Argentina.
