Rangers have told striker Steven MacLean that he can leave if the club receive the right offer.
Steven MacLean has not made a first-team start with Rangers
The 21-year-old was on loan to Scunthorpe, finishing as top scorer in England's Third Division with 25 goals.
But he said: "I've still got a year left on my contract at Rangers and the gaffer has made it clear that if the right offer comes in then I can go.
"I still think I could do a job for Rangers and I did think I would get a shot to prove myself."
But manager Alex McLeish has signed Croatia international Dado Prso and is looking for another goalscorer.
MacLean is likely to be in demand in England following his exploits with Scunthorpe.
"I'm in no rush to get out of the door and I'm waiting to see if the right offer comes in," he told the Daily Record.
"I'm disappointed I didn't get more of a chance at Rangers, especially last season, when we were struggling to score goals."
