Alex McLeish admitted that drawing at home to Dundee United had severely dented Rangers' title challenge.
"It's a big setback," said the Rangers manager after United's late equaliser.
"United came and set their stall out to get a point and defended stoutly. We had chances, but we were not ruthless enough in front of goal.
"We have started brightly and then took the foot off the gas. Our team has not showed enough hunger and desire throughout the 90 minutes."
