De Boers could stay on
Ronald and Frank de Boer

Rangers forward Ronald de Boer says he and twin Frank could stay at Ibrox beyond the end of the season.

Both players' current contracts expire in the summer and they were expected to move on, but Ronald says that Frank's arrival means that may not be the case.

Despite having missed much of a poor season for Rangers through injury, Ronald is content with Glasgow life.

"It is a good feeling and we always wanted to finish with each other," he admitted on Friday.

"We have left every option open so far. But I think the percentage of staying here has increased because Frank is here.

"I will still wait for the last two months of the season to see how I feel mentally and I will discuss everything with the family and then make a decision.

"But the chances of staying have increased and if an offer comes along then I will think about it."

Ronald believes Frank has settled in well since his arrival from Galatasaray.

"I think everyone can see what he brings to the team - solidness, composure on the ball and he is very smart at defending," he added.

"He plays the ball to our team-mates and on Wednesday against Kilmarnock he didn't give once chance away.

"He is really enjoying himself at the moment. He goes with a smile to training because we have a great facility here and a great bunch of boys."
