Queen's Park head coach Billy Stark said that leading his side to promotion from Division Three surpassed his playing days with Aberdeen and Celtic.
"It gives me great satisfaction," said Stark after the 7-2 aggregate victory over East Fife in the play-off final.
"I was lucky enough to win things as a player, but this brings different feelings and is even better as you're responsible for the whole team.
"Some of them might not see days like this again so we've got to enjoy it."
East Fife boss Dave Baikie admitted that the Glasgow side deserved to win the play-off.
"I thought they were the better team over two legs and they were the best footballing team in the division," he said.
