Free agent Lilley rejoins Queens

Lilley ended a five-year spell with Kilmarnock when he left Rugby Park

Queen of the South have snapped up David Lilley after the 31-year-old was release by Kilmarnock.

The defender, who spent four years with Queens in the 1990s, has signed a two-year deal with the First Division club.

Lilley, who also played for Aberdeen, Ross County and Partick Thistle, helped Killie to eighth spot in last season's Scottish Premier League.

Derek Holmes, Willie McLaren, Ludovic Roy and Rocco Quinn have also signed up at Palmerston so far this summer.
