Chisholm's ban does not apply for the Scottish Cup semi-final

Queen of the South manager Gordon Chisholm has been given a two-match touchline ban but will be able to sit in the Hampden dugout on Saturday.

Chisholm will lead out the First Division underdogs against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-final.

But, unless he lodges a successful appeal, the Queens boss will be banned from 15 April.

He was reported for leaving his technical area and showing dissent against Livingston on 1 April.

Queens coach Billy Dodds has already served one match of a three-game ban imposed by the Scottish Football Association.

Dodds officially took up his role at Palmerston last week.

And he was immediately served with the suspension that had been awaiting his return to the game since 2006.

Dodds had received the ban following an incident during a match between Aberdeen and Dundee United, with whom he was assistant manager.

Meanwhile, Albion Rovers assistant manager Paul Martin has until 14 April to appeal against a two-game suspension imposed for misconduct in the technical area during a match against East Stirlingshire on 29 March.
