Sousa praises Cup rivals Burnley

QPR boss Paulo Sousa has praised Burnley's style ahead of their FA Cup third-round replay on Tuesday.

The teams shared a goalless draw in the first meeting at Loftus Road and Sousa told BBC London 94.9: "Burnley are one of the best teams in our league.

"They've had a lot of important games from the 26th of December, also against Premier League clubs.

"Burnley have great players, who have shown they could play in the Premier League with high quality."

Sousa added that he was impressed with the way Burnley played in their recent Carling Cup semi-final first-leg defeat at Tottenham.

"A team that comes to London and plays like they played against Tottenham needs to be a good team," he said.
