QPR academy striker Angelo Balanta has signed his first professional contract.
The Colombian-born 17-year-old who has made three first-team appearances this season, has agreed a deal with Rangers that takes him through to summer 2010.
"It has always been a dream of mine to become a professional footballer," he told the club's official website.
"I am very grateful to [boss] Luigi De Canio, who has shown his faith in me. I just want to establish myself in his first team plans as soon as possible."
