QPR to keep Sahar until January
John Gregory
Gregory was thrilled by Sahar's arrival
QPR have extended Chelsea striker Ben Sohar's loan spell until the beginning of January.

Sahar, 17, initially signed on a three-month contract but boss John Gregory is thrilled he will be staying until 2 January.

"We're delighted. He has already shown glimpses of his potential in two pre-season friendlies," Gregory told the club's website.

"We're looking for him to repeat his goal-scoring prowess in the league."

Israeli international Sahar, who came on as a substitute against England in a Euro 2008 qualifier in March, is his country's youngest ever player.

Sahar made his debut for Israel against Ukraine in February.

QPR have also signed teenage Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne, 19, on a season-long loan.
