Holloway praise for duo
QPR striker Kevin Gallen
Gallen's influence is telling
QPR manager Ian Holloway paid tribute to forwards Kevin Gallen and Paul Furlong after his side's 1-0 win against Bristol City.

Gallen's first-half penalty gave promotion-chasing Rangers a vital three points, and strike partner Furlong was outstanding alongside him.

"The front two were absolutely superb," said Holloway.

"Paul Furlong was magnificent. He was a threat to them and helped get us the penalty that led to the goal.

"Kevin Gallen was superb as well. He's made of the right stuff."

The victory maintained Rangers' position in the top six and kept alive their slim chance of winning automatic promotion.

Holloway added: "Every game is massive for us now.

"It's a fantastic feeling - and what a fantastic opportunity for us."
