Alexander injury blow for Preston
Graham Alexander
Alexander: Broken rib and lung damage
Preston North End defender Graham Alexander will be out of action for several weeks after breaking a rib against Wolves. The 29-year-old full back also suffered lung damage at Molineux and his manager David Moyes said: "Graham's going to be out for a few weeks.

"We don't know exactly how long until the specialist examines the x-rays, but we are going to be without him for some time."

Moyes revealed that striker Jon Macken was also injured during the 1-0 win over Wolves.

"Macken got a knock on the foot and we'll have a look at that and see how it is before the weekend," Moyes said.
