Pompey offers yet to materialise

Portsmouth owner Sacha Gaydamak has received no offers for the club, says executive chairman Peter Storrie.

Pompey have been repeatedly linked to consortiums apparently wanting to buy the club that Gaydamak bought in 2006.

But Storrie told BBC Radio Solent: "If people are serious about wanting to take over the club then the first thing they need to do is make an offer.

"That hasn't happened and we're getting fairly bored of all the stories about our finances and ownership."

The contracts of 15 Portsmouth players, including skipper Sol Campbell, are due to expire at the end of the season, but Storrie maintained it would be left to manager Tony Adams to decide who stays or goes.

Campbell's former Arsenal and England team-mate Adams added: "In Sol's case, he'll make his own decision - and whatever it is, that's all right with me."

"He's his own man. He will do what he wants to do and I wouldn't insult Sol by pushing him in either direction.

"He's been around the block and he's a great professional. I'm sure he will tell us in his own time what he wants to do next and that's fine. He's been fantastic for this club."

Campbell, 34, is currently sidelined by a toe injury and whether the centre-back stays on at Pompey could come down to whether he is offered a one-year or two-year contract extension.

Others who are out of contract at Fratton Park in June include FA Cup-winning striker Kanu - largely reduced to a substitute's role this season - along with midfielders Sean Davis, Richard Hughes and Glen Little and defenders Hermann Hreidarsson, Noe Pamarot and Lauren.

Just four games into his reign as manager, Adams must also decide ether to keep season-long loan-players Nadir Belhadj (Lens) and Armand Traore (Arsenal) on a more permanent basis.

Adams has publicly declared "hands-off" warnings to clubs who might be interested in England striker Jermain Defoe and goalkeeper David James.
