Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has rubbished newspaper reports and told BBC Radio Solent that he has no plans to quit after the FA cup final.

Newspaper reports on Thursday suggested he was considering quitting football after a series of personal problems had left him disillusioned.

Redknapp said: "I don't know where that came from, it was absolute nonsense.

"I enjoy my job, I enjoy working here and I've got no intension of retiring after the FA Cup final."

"My wife Sandra said if I retire she's going to go out and get a job. She doesn't want me around the house alot these days, so there's no chance," he added.

Portsmouth face Cardiff City on Saturday at Wembley in this year's FA Cup final.
