Queens Park Rangers have completed the loan signing of England Under-21 defender Martin Cranie from Portsmouth.
Cranie is an England Under-21 international
The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-month deal which will run until 1 January, and he has signed in time to face Norwich on Monday evening.
Cranie, 21, has made three appearances for Pompey since moving to Fratton Park from Southampton in the summer.
"I've looked at him for a very long while," caretaker manager Mick Harford told QPR's website.
"He's versatile, but prefers to play at centre-half and that's where we'll use him."
