Portsmouth reserve goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown has signed a new two-year deal with the Premiership club.
Ashdown is delighted with the new deal
The 26-year-old, who broke his finger at the start of the season and spent a month on loan at Norwich, has committed his future to the club until 2010.
"I'm delighted. It's great for me because it's not been the best year of my career," he told the club website.
"Hopefully I've impressed the coaching staff and the manager in training and I've been rewarded with a new deal."
