Pompey chairman Mandaric is delighted with the Rodic deal
Portsmouth have signed striker Alexsander Rodic from Slovenian champions Gorica.

Slovenia international Rodic, 24, has a big reputation in his home country.

Chairman Milan Mandaric told the Pompey website: "We have signed a bright, young striker who is very sharp inside the box."

Subject to international clearance, Rodic will be available for Portsmouth's Premiership clash with Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

Mandaric added: "He is going to be an exciting asset for Portsmouth and we have every belief he will carry on at Fratton Park where he left off in Slovenia."
