Portsmouth have signed Uruguay striker Dario Silva from Spanish club Sevilla on a two-year deal.
Silva joined Sevilla in 2003 and his 14 goals in 32 appearances helped the club finish sixth in La Liga last season.
The 32-year-old was part of his country's World Cup squad at the 2002 finals in South Korea and Japan.
He had a spell in Italy with Cagliari and then moved to Spain where he played for Espanyol and Malaga before his switch to Sevilla.
