Port Vale boss Micky Adams unworried by takeover talk
Adams was named League Two manager of the month for November
Port Vale boss Micky Adams says he is not worried by ongoing speculation about the future ownership of the League Two club.
Staffordshire's Mo Chaudry is the latest businessman linked with a takeover as the club seeks investment.
Adams told BBC Radio Stoke: "If anyone wants to come in and buy the club, they're getting a club on the up.
"When or if a takeover happens, Micky Adams will deal with it then. But no, I'm not worried about it."
BBC Radio Stoke understands Chaudry's bid to buy a controlling stake in the club was rejected the Vale board who also turned down a £500,000 takeover bid from New York-based Mike Newton in August.
But with the team enjoying success on the field this season, Adams says speculation is inevitable.
"Port Vale is an attractive proposition at the moment, particularly when we're top of the table," he said.
