Port Vale have told Danny Glover, Luke Prosser, Ross Davidson and Daniel Lloyd-Weston they will not be offered new contracts at the end of the season.
Defender Prosser, 21, has joined Conference side Kidderminster Harriers on loan for the rest of the campaign.
Meanwhile, striker Glover and midfielder Davidson, both 20, have gone on loan to Stafford Rangers.
Goalkeeper Lloyd-Weston, 18, is free to leave Vale Park but is not expected to join another club on loan.
The young keeper, who has not made a senior appearance for Vale, had a two-game trial with Manchester United earlier this season.
Glover, Prosser and Davidson have struggled for first-team football at Vale Park since the arrival of manager Micky Adams.
The trio were regular starters last season, but only Prosser has made a first-team start for Vale during this campaign.
Glover has made four substitute appearances and Davidson has not featured at all.
Adams told the club website: "All three are fantastic professionals, but have struggled to cement a place in the first team.
"I would like to take this opportunity to wish them all well in their future careers."
