Vale sign Derby youngster
Brian Horton
Brian Horton adds to his youth policy
Port Vale have signed Derby striker Sincliar Le Geyt on a one-month contract.

The 20-year-old South African helped Derby win the the reserve league last season and will team up with Marc-Bridge Wilkinson who also joined Vale from the Rams.

Valiants manager Brian Horton is continuing with the trend of bringing in younger players into the squad.

"A few other clubs had noted he was available and we're pleased he's come to us.

If he shows a decent level of fitness he could well be in the squad for our first pre-season friendly at Newcastle Town on Sunday," Horton told BBC Radio Stoke.
