Vale boss Foyle releases quintet
Port Vale have released Ian Armstrong, Simon Eldershaw, Ryan Brown, Christian Hanson and Levi Reid as manager Martin Foyle rebuilds for next season.

Foyle is now awaiting a response from Jeff Smith, Steve Rowland and Mark Innes after offering them new deals.

Meanwhile, chairman Bill Bratt will stand down from his post this summer.

"It has had a massive impact on my life. It has taken a lot out of me mentally and physically, as well as the financial side of it," Bratt, 59, said.
