Cummins signs new Vale deal
Port Vale midfielder Micky Cummins has agreed a new contract with the club.

The 25-year-old, who has started 199 games for Vale since signing from Middlesbrough in March, 2000, is to sign a two-year deal.

"I'm naturally delighted he made the decision to stay and hope that one or two others will now come to the same decision," manager Martin Foyle said.

"I expect him to become a natural leader now and pull the reins for some of the younger players in the side."
