Plymouth Argyle aim to keep hold of Craig Noone - Reid

Plymouth Argyle boss Peter Reid said he will do what he can to keep winger Craig Noone at the troubled club.

Noone, who has been in impressive form for the Pilgrims this season, has attracted interest from Brighton.

But Reid told BBC Spotlight: "I've spoken to [Brighton boss] Gus Poyet and they are [interested in signing Noone], but I'm interested in keeping him.

"He's a good player. He's bubbly and hopefully he turns it on. That's all that concerns me."

Plymouth have been given until 9 February by a High Court judge to clear their debts with HM Revenue & Customs.

The Devon-club owes HMRC £760,000, which could be cleared in part by the sale of players during the January transfer window.
